We will be hosting an evening Community Reception for the visiting Federal delegation from the President's Advisory Commision for Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders on June 10, Friday, 6:30 to 9:00 PM at the Brier Creek Country Club in North Raleigh, near RTP. This is a chance for community leaders, professionals and business owners to network with each other and to meet the President's Commissioners - Commission Chair Ms. Betty Wu, Ms. Nina Nguyen-Collier, Dr. Akshay Desai, and Mr. Kenneth Wong - and the Executive Director of the White House Initiative, Mr. Eddy Badrina.

We are inviting leaders and other representatives of our Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean, Indian, South Asian, Vietnamese, Filipino, Japanese, Southeast Asian and Pacific Islander communities to attend the reception.

The Commission's visit is being coordinated locally by NAAAP-NC with the assistance of our partner organizations TACAS (Triangle Area Chinese American Society), NCCBA (North Carolina Chinese Business Association) and CAFA (Chinese-American Friendship Association).

Cost: Free if registered before May 24, otherwise a donation is requested at the door to cover the costs for the event:
