NAAAP-NC held its September Global Dinner at Penang Restaurant in Chapel Hill on Saturday Sep 23. A total of 26 members and guests participated in this event, enjoying the unique restaurant ambiance and a variety of authentic and exquisite Malaysian cuisine which is influenced by Malaysia's three major groups: Malay, Chinese and Indian. Some of the favorite dishes are Roti Canai, Satay, Penang Chow Kueh Teow, Mee Goreng, Nasi Lemak, Curry and many more.
The Global Dinner series is a regular NAAAP program to foster professional networking in a friendly social environment. It is an excellent opportunity to meet and to mingle with Asian-American professionals, including many who are active in the community.
